- Somewhat technichal single track close to Portland - a trail system
that 's about 8-10 miles if all the loops are ridden. Unfortunately there's
no map as of yet.
Directions: Hit Hwy. 30 and Cornelius Pass Rd., go NW on Hwy. 30 a few mile
untile you see a big blue sign on the right saying "Rocky Point Road" pointing
to the left.
Take a left at the sign and curve left up the mountain for about a mile.
There's a blue gate (the first gate you'll encounter) on the right. Park
there, don't block the gate (local police doesn't like that), and follow
the logging road up. There are plenty of trails leading off the logging road
and eventually coming back to it.
If you get lost, don't worry there are only 2 ways out - either you
follow the logging road back to your car or you listen for traffic
on HWY 30, go towards it and peddle back up the hill.
