Forest Park Trail System, Portland, OR
Forest Park is a combination fire road / singletrack trail system. Mostly fireroads, it's the perfect beginner / get in shape trail connecting Portland's downtown with the western hills. Park either in NW Portland or off old Germantown road (off of Cornelius Pass Rd. From gate to gate it's about 11 miles, with singletrack branching off the main logging road called Leif Erickson.
